会議場の様子
国連旗のある議長席の後ろには、プレゼン画面が2つありました
本校には「模擬国連同好会」があります。
1年生プレミア･エクセレント･スダンダート各コースの部員４名が、
「日本教育国際模擬国連(JEIMUN)」の会議に出席しました。
開催場所は、東京の国立オリンピック記念青少年総合センター。
1月6～8日の３日間、長丁場です。
この｢JEIMUN=ジェイムン｣は、
日本で開催される模擬国連会議のことで、世界中から高校生が集まりますが、
会議は、全て英語で話されます！
生徒たちは、レベルの高い高校生を前に萎縮することもありましたが、
白熱した議論の輪に入ることで、
新たな視野を得ることができたようです。
生徒達にとって、素晴らしい刺激になりました。
模擬国連らしく、英文で報告します。
＜Japan Educational International Model United Nations（JEIMUN）＞
JEIMUN is an all-English Model UN conference in Japan which welcomes high school students from all over the world. The conference was held in the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center from the 6th to 8th of January, 2024.
The students sometimes felt intimidated by the high-level high school students, but by participating in the heated discussions, they were able to gain a new perspective.
Being able to have this kind of experience was a great inspiration for all the students.
